Throughout the season we will endeavour to keep these squads' website pages as up to date as possible. We hope you find the site useful and easy to access the information herein. We also encourage visitors to help us make the site as informative and interesting as possible! The Squad

Over the years we have realised that most girls prefer to play football amongst themselves, separate from the boys, which is why within L&BBFC we created a Girls Development Squad, to run along side that of the Boys. However, we also realise that not all girls would agree with this, which is why we also continue to offer girls the opportunity to join in with our boys’ squads, within current FA guidelines!

We hope that by introducing football to girls in this way, they will feel more comfortable in participating, and therefore, hopefully join and remain a part of our set up for some time thereafter.

On the back of this philosophy we have developed a group of girls, who have been together for some time, into two squads, one at U10's and another at U12's age. Although not quite ready for competitive football this season, we hope that these two squads will continue to develop and mature into sides able to compete in the local league on a regular basis.
