Welcome to our Club
Development Page
Introduction
We at Leigh & Bransford Badgers FC are keen to see our staff and
members develop their football skills and interests further, whilst
continuing to enjoy their role within this club. Through an achievable
programme of planned development activities, we hope that this Club
will be able to improve and consequently sustain further development
opportunities for future staff and members to come! The information
herein will help keep you informed on all our development issues such
as relevant staff training courses, member soccer skills assessments,
and other useful opportunities. For more information about these,
please email us.
Staff
Development Opportunities
As you know, without the voluntary dedication and commitment of our
staff, we would not be able to meet the demands placed upon by us by
our members, the Mercian Festival Junior Football League, the
Worcestershire County FA, and other relevant soccer agencies. We are
therefore, extremely grateful to them for this, and are willing to
support their development in this respect. The information shown below
is provided to enable us to support this development through adult
courses in Football Coaching, Club Administration, First Aid, Child
Protection, and Refereeing. Please look at our Advice
To Coaches page for an idea of the support we provide.
Member’s Development Opportunities
Striving to improve is something we are keen to encourage all our
members to do. We intend to aid this process by providing opportunities
for members to demonstrate their abilities and to identify areas for
improvement, as well as giving them opportunities to work on those
areas. However, time spent by members at club sessions is very limited
and it is, therefore, expected that members will also undertake to
apply any improvement exercises identified, during times other than at
club sessions. Information for our members on Club Soccer
Skills Assessments (for which players can be Sponsored), Soccer Schools, Competitions,
and other development matters also feature below. Furthermore, we also
encourage members to consider other development opportunities available
in soccer such as administration, refereeing, junior coaching, and
first aid courses etc. Members need not focus solely on playing the
game! For details of courses available to our more senior aged members,
see also the Current WFA course dates
available to our Staff!
Further Information
We are always keen to hear from any new members or staff volunteers.

Football League, together with other relevant soccer
‘agencies’, can be found via the ‘Links’ link
