Introduction

 Kiting out soccer mad youngsters can be an expensive issue, but having the right kit is important. At L&BBFC we try to help in keeping these costs to a minimum. This page contains details and information on what we do in this respect, which we hope will be of great use to our members and their parents. The details herein are updated frequently so be sure to revisit the site regularly!

Health & Safety

 Reminder - You will note from our Members Code of Conduct that all members must wear shin pads and appropriate clothing & footwear to all soccer sessions they attend. Failure to do so could prevent their active participation in the event!

Comfort

 Not only is having the right kit important, but it is also important that our members dress sensibly taking into account the weather conditions. Water proof garments, track suites, sweatshirts, hats and gloves may be worn during coaching sessions to help keep out the weather. So don’t think that you must only turn up in shirts, shorts, & socks, especially on a freezing day, because you will regret it!

Official Club Clothing

In answer to the many enquiries we have had from our members, parents, and supporters, the Club is now able to offer the following items. Our club garments carry our logo and may also carry any necessary sponsor details. Please note that these items make great gifts for Christmas, Birthdays, and other special occasions!

You may if you wish, purchase your own garment direct and we will arrange for the club logo to be inserted at a cost of £7 per item.

Nearly New Items

From time to time the Club acquires good quality used items of soccer kit mainly in the form of boots or trainers. We make these items available to our members at extremely reasonable rates, so before you splash out £’s on items that your child will soon grow out of, check to see what might be available! Also, if you want to donate good quality items that you no longer have need of, please let us know.

Shin Pads

Members can either purchase brand new or used quality shin pads from the Club, at very reasonable rates! Please see below for details: -

Ordering

Ordering items could not be simpler, just click HERE and email your requirements; be sure to include quantity and sizes! We will then be in touch to confirm your order & collection details and payment arrangements! You can also place an order direct at our club shop.

Delivery

Please note that these prices do not include any special embroidery or delivery requests, which will no doubt attract an additional cost where applicable. In order to maximise efficiency savings in costs, the Club may delay processing individual orders until an appropriate time, and therefore, any delivery dates are given only as a guide, and may vary without notice.

Lost Property or Forgotten Property

Since we began running sessions and games, we have always had items of clothing and other belongings left behind, by our members, staff, parents, supporters, and visitors.

In many cases, we have been able to repatriate items with their owners, this being made all the more easy when names feature on the items in question! However, occasionally we have been left with unclaimed belongings, where we have no idea as to who it belongs to.

Trying to match non-personalised lost or left property with rightful owners can be very difficult and time consuming, especially when many of our staff, members, parents, and supporters have similar belongings such as official club garments!

The simple solution is for you to put your name on your belongings!

Club Staff will endeavour to ensure that lost or left property is kept safe until such time as it may be claimed, within the following few weeks or so. However, hanging on to the property for too long a period presents us with a storage problem, so we will eventually have to dispose of it accordingly!

Because we operate from several venues, it is not always possible to have a lost property 'point' at each site. However, we do have one at the Club Shop at our Ralph's Field Stadium venue, where we will hang onto items lost or left behind at club sessions held there, for as long as we can. However, at other venues, Club Staff will do their best to try to identify owners of left items, but we would respectfully remind you that your property is your responsibility, and putting your name on it helps!

If you know or think you have lost or left behind items that may belong to you, or other persons of our club, please contact your relevant squad coach(es) in the first instance, as he/she may have seen what it is you are looking for. Failing that, contact our Club Secretary, giving a description of the item lost, and we will do all we can to help find it.

Finally, you are again reminded to put your name on what you own, because you are responsible for your own property!
