Club
Century Milestones
Since the club
began in 2001, it’s members and staff have
enjoyed much in the way of participation and achievement both on and
off the
field. This page is dedicated to those mentioned who during the course
of their
time with this club, have become the first to achieve various century
'milestones’
within the club. Our thanks and congratulations go to them all.
One Hundred MFJFL
League &
Cup Appearances
In the season of
2007/8 two club members attained
the distinction of becoming the first L&BBFC players to notch
100 MFJFL
league and cup appearances for the club during the course of this
campaign.
Nick Medakovic (U14’s Colts) achieved this feat during the
period 2002/3 to
2007/8 playing his 100th game on 7th
October 2007 against
Ombersley Terriers FC. Coincidently, this was also matched by Nick
Snowdon
(U12’s) who completed his century of appearances during the
period 2003/4 to
2007/8, playing his 100th game also on 7th
October 2007,
in a match against Oldbury Park Tigers FC.
One Hundred MFJFL League & Cup Goals
L&BBFC
U11’s Gunners’ ‘hot shot’, Zach
Stimson
became the first L&BBFC player to score 100 MFJFL league and
cup goals for
the club. He achieved this target on 15th March
2008, with his fifth
goal out of seven scored in an amazing 2007/8 season, U11’s
Division Two game
against club mates, the U11’s Villa. It took Zach a total of
62 L&BBFC
competitive MFJFL league and cup games to achieve this feat, spanning
almost a
three season period!
One Hundred MFJFL
League &
Cup Games In Charge
U12’s Team
Coach, Stuart Snowdon, became the
Club’s first Coach to notch 100 MFJFL league and cup games in
charge of a team.
Having taken charge of his first game on the opening day of the season,
back in
2003/4, Stuart completed his 100th game as Team
Coach, on 6th April
2008, in a match against Droitwich Spa Aztecs FC. Only a short break
early on
in the 2007/8 season prevented Stuart from achieving this milestone
much sooner
in this campaign!
One Hundred Monthly
Newsletter
Editions
Newsletter
Editor, Neil Coleman, became the Club’s
first Editor to oversee the publication of 100 consecutive monthly
editions of
the popular L&BBFC newsletter, The Badgers Scene. Having
introduced our
readers to the first edition back in October 2001, Neil completed an
informative century of editions with his 100th
publication in
January 2010!
