The
L&BBFC U13's United celebrated their end of season with a bumper
weekend of
fun. On the Saturday before the Club's 10th
Anniversary Presentation
Fun Day, the squad went out for a day's Karting at Norton, just outside
Worcester.

Glorious
Mud! L&BBFC U7's BDS player, Will Sankey, got down
and dirty during a recent session at a very muddy RFS. The youngster
volunteered to play in goal and his fantastic acrobatic display saw him
caked
in mud. But don't worry though, Mummy was soon on hand with a wet

L&BBFC to Stoke City FC
L&BBFC U11's Spurs starlets,
Ross Grimshaw
(right) and Ben Fisher (left) can hardly believe their fortunes. One
day
they're playing at our Ralph's Field Stadium for the Spurs then the
following
day they are playing at Stoke City' new £8m state of the art
training HQ for
Cheltenham Town U12's & U10's respectively. The two youngsters took

Pranksters followed up on
some goal mouth re-seeding work the club at our Powick venue, with
their take
on the cult crime series Aug 2010

Manchester
United's Brazilian star, Anderson (centre), was just one of the many
stars met
by a group of L&BBFC Coaches & Members. This encounter formed
part of a
visit to United's Carrington training ground complex at which the group
were
all given VIP access to training workshops, lunch and refreshments, and
games
involving teams from around the world who were competing for the MUFC
Premier
Cup.

Despite
ending the season with the wooden spoon, the L&BBFC Legends did
manage a
unique achievement. The 6-0 win over Bredon Cobras meant that the
Legends were
the only side in the WFA County Men's Futsal League to keep a clean
sheet all
season! Rightly proud of this, stand-in 'keeper, Andy 'Shrek' Sankey
commented
afterwards, ' better out than in, Fiona!' May 2010

off their season, the L&BBFC U14's headed off for a morning's
paintballing.
Team Coach, Stuart Snowdon claimed, ' The day was a great way for the
players to
let of some steam and judging by the general discussion, to also get
some
revenge on me for shouting at them from the touchline all season! - May

The
L&BBFC U12's United squad rounded off their improved
season with a day's paintballing. Team Coach, Nick Chambers, claimed ' everyone
had a great day and maybe it's something that
as a group we may want to consider again as an end of season
activity. The
bruises are starting to fade but my head still hurts!' May

As
Editor, Neil Coleman has overseen the collation, publication,
and distribution of the club's monthly newsletter, 'The Badgers Scene',
since
it's introduction way back in October 2001. Neil (left), is seen being

The
two L&BBFC U11's squads line up ahead of their recent
MFJFL Cup Round One 'derby' encounter. With the game all evenly poised
at 1-1
at the break, a strong Division One Rangers (Gold & Black) side
eventually
ran out 5-1 winners against their battling Division Two Rovers (Black
&
White) club mates, in what was the first ever competitive encounter
between
these two sides - October 2009

The
L&BBFC U11's Rangers pose proudly in their newly
acquired 'Remembrance Kit' ahead of their opening league game with
Welland
Juniors FC, which they subsequently won 6-3. The new kit was purchased
by Team
Coach, Franco Adorisio in memory of his nephew and fellow assistant
coach,
Alessio Adorisio, who so tragically lost his life in a close season car
accident, at the age of only 23. The new team kit colours represent the
two
local clubs Alessio was passionate about, the black of L&BBFC
and the gold
of Hornets FC - September 2009.

The
impressive
Leigh & Bransford Primary School Football Team 2008/9 line up
for the
camera at the recent ESFA Small Schools Soccer Regional Championships.
This
L&BBFC 'linked' school, containing no fewer than eight current
L&BBFC
members, won their way through the various stages to be firstly crowned
as
District Champions, then County Champions, and then narrowly being
beaten on
penalties in the semi-finals of the Regional championships, held at
Nottingham
University April 2009.
