Email us if you would like to submit any comments, photo’s, or articles for inclusion on the site or in our regular monthly newsletter, the ‘Badgers Scene’. Contents Use the links via the Home Page to get to the relevant details of the squad, e.g. any Match Reports, etc. Remember to keep checking the site regularly for any news, views, & updates! You can return to the Home Page by simply clicking the Badger at the top of this page, at any time. Where we can, we will provide a link for you to access a map to any away venues, via our Fixtures link, however, details and directions for visitors to our home venues can be found on the Venues Page via the menu shown. Contacts Should you wish to contact the relevant Squad Coach or Assistant Coach(es) to discuss any issues of relevance, you will find their contact details along with those of other Club Staff, under the Who’s Who Page link available via the main menu shown. The Squad Due to FA restrictions, members of this squad are unable to compete in games that are deemed 'competitive'. This means that they can't play in organised leagues or knock out competitions. However, they are permitted to play in non-competitive games and tournaments! Therefore, all fixtures arranged will be on a 'friendly' basis, with the regular coaching sessions arranged to cover the dates when fixtures do not take place. The Mercian Festival Junior Football League currently runs a non-competitive fixture programme and Fun Day Tournament for clubs who wish to enter a side at U8's age, in which this club squad will participate. It is hoped that by taking part in these and other friendly fixtures and events, alongside the continual coaching sessions, the youngsters will better understand the formalities of structured football, and thus be better prepared as they look to join the league the following year at U9's age. Please note that whilst at U8's level, youngsters are allowed to participate if they are aged 6 or 7 years old as at 31st August, prior to the start of the league season. However, it must also be noted that youngsters who have played at U8's level but who were only 6 years old at the time of starting the season, may not transfer to U9's level the following season, with their squad. They will have to remain playing at U8's level for a second season. The reason for this is because games played in the league at U9's level are of a competitive nature, and youngsters who are actually of U8's age, can not participate as mentioned previously. For details on how to join, check out our Join Us Page via the menu shown, or if you want to find out more about what's on offer, then email us
